Hosemann Marine Services is a full time independent marine surveying, vessel delivery service, and consultancy company located in beautiful Chattanooga, Tennessee.
We service vessels throughout the United States.
Our company's goals are simple; provide our clients professional services to at reasonable rates.
When you hire Hosemann Marine Services, rest assured that your interests and safety onboard are our utmost concern. Because we understand the marine environment can be very unforgiving, we focus strongly on the regulations established by the United States Coast Guard as well as the voluntary standards set by the American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC) and the National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA). Moreover, our surveys provide a detailed, clearly understood report of the vessel.
Be confident that when you retain HMS, you will receive service that is not biased toward any lender, insurance company, yacht broker, or repair company.
We work for you and only you.
Captains Mike and Pete Hosemann each have over 25 years as licensed mariners. The Captains combined operational experience includes the IntraCoastal Waterway from Galveston Bay, TX to Norwalk, CT and most of the Mississippi River System. Both Captains have extensive backgrounds in the construction and repair of commercial vessels, vessel operations, systems installation, and instruction.
Captain Pete Hosemann is a Certified Master Marine Surveyor (CMMS) through the
United States Surveyors Association and he is accredited for yacht and small commercial vessel surveying through Navtech, one of the oldest marine surveyor training schools in the United States.
Hosemann Marine Services is a strong proponent of continuing education and requires associates to annually attend various courses and seminars related to marine surveying.
